My name is Anastasija Jana Roze. You can also call me Anastasija, Tasie, or simply Jana. Originally from Latvia, a small country in Northern Europe, I've called England home since 2014. This is also when I got my first DSLR camera, although I’ve always been a bit of a photographer (I was that kid taking pictures of all my friends).
Over the years, I’ve explored many genres – landscapes, macro, food, and portraits. But I found myself most fascinated with photographing anything to do with humans, creative expression, and emotions. I see beauty in every single person I work with. Showcasing that gives me enjoyment like no other.
When I'm not working with clients, I'm always capturing personal moments and the beauty of the world around us. My inspiration often comes from nature. I'm a huge lover of mountains and beaches. I love shooting outdoors and incorporating flowers into my work – the more, the better!
A few random facts about me:
•I consider myself a sustainable living enthusiast, trying to make mindful choices and reduce waste as much as I can.
•I enjoy spending time at home with my husband, Aleks, and being bossed around by our two adorable cats, Jackie and Minnie. They definitely run the show here!
•When I’m not working, you’ll find me watching old films, reading novels, writing my own stories and poetry.
•Antiques, vintage finds, and second-hand treasures are my weakness - whether it's clothes or home decor.
•I drink endless cups of loose-leaf mint and camomile tea.
